Title: DAR Airworthiness Inspection - Passed
Today was the big day. The DAR came and inspected the plane. He did a thorough inspection and at the end said the airplane was great and gave me the Airworthiness Certificate (AWC). I will take this opportunity to thank all the special people that assisted me through the four years it took to get to this point but special thanks go to: Marty Mason, original owner of the kit, for his dedication to keeping this kit intact through so many years so that one day it could become an airplane and all the help he provided me to ensure I could register the plane with the FAA, to Bud Yerly for his patience and invaluable assistance in providing advice which made the build smoother and enjoyable, to my friends Tom Aging and Craig Cousins for the any times they came to my house to lend a hand on those things I could simply not do it alone and finally to Chapter 699 for selling me the kit and also with the help registering the airplane with the FAA. Now comes the fun part - FIRST FLIGHT! Stay tuned
