So on July 16th, I was clecoing up all the firewall parts in preparation for match drilling, when my cousin called and told me that Mom had fallen and broke a hip in Missouri. I left that same day and was back there for a couple of weeks, and will continue to be back and forth for the foreseeable future. Today, I got the opportunity to work in the garage for a few hours so I finished fabricating the F601 angles and the brake & fuel pump doublers. Match drilled everything. I'm leaving again tomorrow, but when I come back all the firewall parts are ready for dimpling/countersinking.
