It was late and I was tired.....I realized that I needed to modify the baggage door handle that came with my kit as there is a pin facing outboard that is not needed and interferes with the exterior door handle socket. I took it over to the workbench and cut off the pin but soon realized I cut off the wrong one! Bummer. I cut off the correct one then tried to drill out the remaining pin so I could install a bolt. No joy...the pin is hardened steel and after three different drilling attempts I drilled a new hole about 1/4" away from the 'old pin'. I think this will still work but need to Cabosil in the door inserts...which is what I did this morning....and now they are curing.
