Whew...strakes are installed! I'm getting better at managing the gel time of the resin (the cooler temps also help) so the single layer of fiberglass cloth between the strake and fuselage did not seem so rushed. Once I did the lay up I allowed it cure then went back over everything with Q-cell and sanded it down smooth. A little more body work and it will be ready for painting. I also installed the rudder fairing and tail cone fairing. Installed the elevator with ease and finished checking the fit of everything..which I'm happy with.
