Great week of wrapping up a bunch of odd jobs on the plane. I received my order from Glasair so I was able to continue with fiberglass work and install many of the items I had on order from them. Here's what I accomplished this week: Installed elevator trim motor, wired, and configured G3X system to show correct elevator trim position. Installed baggage door socket in the fuselage with Resin and Cabosil Installed Hickman Headset hanger in cockpit Installed four-point seat bar harness kit in fuselage Installed Trike Tail strike wheel kit Returned to baggage door install to finish door install. I was able to get my handle to work since I made an error a few weeks ago cutting off the wrong part! This door actually came out really nice and I'm pleased with the fit and finish. I want to make a handle out of something different from what is provided in the kit as it looks pretty cheap. Otherwise, the baggage door is nearly done.
