Title: work space
Feb 2020- Fuselage comes down from the ceiling My hanger is about 40' square inside with the RV8, a car and a motorcylce (or 2) that take up some room, but enough space left over for a good work area. I have heat and pretty good light so winter work is comfortable. First order of business is getting a 16 ft long work table. I just happen to have an box left over from the RV finishing kit that was 8 ft long and about the right height for a work table. I attached a 2x6 to each side to extend the length to 16 ft added some legs, and 2 sheets of 3/4" plywood for the top. Ready to get started. The picture show the work table with the airframe but I actually started and completed the wings before the airframe came down from the ceiling. The work table was dismantled shortly after this picture and the airframe went onto a rotisserie.
