Title: Fuel cap skin cut work - left wing
Worked on placement of the hole in the leading edge for the fuel cap and it's shaft. First took a scrap piece of 6061 (you can see that i used it to do a lot of previous drill tests and angle cuts). I cut a hole in it to represent the fuel cap location/size. I then put the cap shaf through it and drilled the cleco holes. Put the skin back on and put template back on to get the location of the necessary cut. The second little skin hole was a site-check drill that I knew would be in a safe spot to drill. By the end of the night, the hole was cut in the exact right place, but I'll need to work on widening it a little in order to be able to screw the fuel cap shaft completely down due to the graduated angle on the bottom of it.
