Title: Gear
Spent some time slowly filing the holes for the engine mount both on the firewall and the engine mount itself so that the AN5 bolts would fit through. The bolts are still a very tight fit and require a small bit of tapping to get through the holes. Have a question in to the factory about the top AN5-7A bolts as they appear too short once the parachute tangs are added. The two AN5-10A bolts for the other two top bolts, not through the engine mount, appear long enough with the tang. Added the front nose wheel and engine mount. Added the main gear legs and removed all supports except for supporting the tail. Getting the fours bolts in the main gear legs took some effort but eventually lined up. The order of steps was install top bolt on one side, raise gear leg on that side and add bottom bolt on same side. Then raise other side and put the top bolt in, then the bottom bolt. On the second side, through different approach attempts, it was ultimately the use of a jack to raise it to exact position needed that really helped. Trying to raise it by hand was difficult to keep it at the exact location needed to get the top bolt through. Throughout the process, kept both tires on some wood blocks so that gear legs would be somewhat level vs the second side hanging down completely without support.
