I needed to feel like I was making some progress so I took a break from the electrical work. Back in June 2020 I had the missing retract link cut out on a waterjet table. This worked out beautifully but it did leave the edges a little rough. I spent some time cleaning those edges up. The link is thicker than the original. I may get it machined down to match the original thickness when I get the bearing sockets machined out. Or maybe not. Once I get that done, I'll clean up the edges of the lightening holes too.
