Title: R wheel pant fitting
I continued work on the R wheel pant: 1. Trimmed the wheel opening in the forward piece about 3/4" larger. Test-fit it. It's better, but it still fits weird. 2. Trimmed another 1/2" from the wheel opening. Better, but still not perfect. 3. Trimmed the gear leg hole a bit more. 4. After looking at the fit of the pant, I decided to cut about 1/4" off the height of the wooden spacer block taped to the top of the tire. This made quite a bit of difference, and I was able to get the wheel pant pieces together with a lot less struggle than before. In fact, I was able to actually line up the screw holes in the forward and aft pieces, on the airplane, for the first time. I think we're on to something.
