It's been so long since I built them that I almost forgot about prepping my wing root fairings for paint. I got them off the shelf and inspected them. The upper fairings were still bare aluminum, so I roughed them up with a Scotchbrite pad, cleaned them up, and primed them with a coat of self-etching primer.
