Began fabricating the battery hold-down bar, and began cutting the eight lightening holes in the Odyssey battery box. I used a fly-cutter mounted in a hand-held electric drill. Sounds scary, but it works okay if you go slow and clamp everything down good and tight. Nevertheless, that grimace on my face reflects the ill-advised technique of using a fly-cutter mounted in a hand-held drill. I wouldn't do it this way again.
