Title: Fuselage paint prep
Updates since my last visit: --The fuselage is now in the paint booth, in preparation for primer application. --Additional masking has been added to various locations on the fuselage and landing gear. --The tail stinger has been stripped. --Spot filler was added and sanded on the windshield fairing. Once the first coat of primer is applied, we'll be able to assess what additional sanding and detail work will be needed on the windshield fairing. My painter said he needed an additional 2 quarts of primer and 1 quart of catalyst, so I drove to the auto parts store and bought it. PPG products have gotten incredibly expensive -- the one-quart can I'm holding in the photo was $123!
