Worked with curved tube (sent from Stol Creek) to install on bracket above the throttle to guide the throttle cable. After much adjustment and fiddling, I think I got it. I secured screw holding cable in throttle valve and nuts holding curved guide tube with blue Lock Tite to prevent loosening. The curved tube added enough friction that I can put a partial "brake" on throttle and it will hold position.
