In keeping with my doing things the hard way, I'm going to mount my javelins by passing the flying and landing wires through them rather than lashing them in place. I made a jig to cut the required slots to pass the wires through. I took a measurement of the angle made between the landing and flying wires so I could cut the middle slit at the proper angle.
