As i will put two cable conduit along the cabin top struts, i will need to drive the conduit into the overhead console. I tried few times to two decent covers, but i didn't succeed using fiberglass and a stand alone mold. I finally resolved to have a mold directly on the Canopy/Console assembly using foam, tape and mold release. I used Carbon fiber to make the covers more similar to the console...Not sure it will be cosmetically acceptable, if not i will let the paint shop dealing with final touches. I used polyurethane fire resistant foam, sanded to shape carefully, taped and covered with carbon fiber. curing, cutting sanding to shape
