Start of the retrofitting the Landing Gear mount following Service Bulletin SB00007. Although there are obviously no crack on the mounts i decided to implement the SB00007 right away in order to reduce difficult work once the airplane is built. Considering that i will operate from grass fields i believe it would be better to install the new gear mount instead of waiting for cracks to develop. The kit provided by VANS has detailed instructions, drill guides and drill bushing to facilitate the work. Lucio helped a lot during this work. The first step has been to drill the holes in the longerons using the drill guides and blocking the drill bushing in position with the help of clamps.
