Added 6 Q of oil, disconnected plug leads, removed top plugs and hand cranked prop 120 revolutions to prime oil system. Indicated 26 PSI oil pressure on SkyView. Adjusted prop blade alignments, set to 18 degrees. Torqued prop in place and checked tracking -1/16” OK. Cut spinner blade openings with dremel cutoff wheel, and sanded smooth. Taped into position on backplate. Screwed top plugs back in place to prevent foreign debris from falling in. They will come out again when I align the Spinner and when I check the PMags. Found a local supplier for the Axalta (formerly DuPont) grey epoxy primer that I am using for fiberglass/plastic and interior parts. My old supplier is tango-uniform. Bought a 1Q kit… $150 (CDN).
