Since i cut the cowl too short. I had to correct the mistake and remount the lower cowl. The space between the spinner backplate and the cowl is not increased to 20mm. I plan on doing some bodywork to decrease the space. Started upper cowl. While installing the lower hinge system for the cowling, the rivets need up close to the edge. I measured and determined while close, I was within the minimum of 1.5mm but not within the suggested 10mm from the edge on the skin. I had my friend (A&P Robert McCoy) inspect the issue and he determined that it will be safe.
