Lee Teicheira and Bill Lawrence discovered that the elevator trim control cable was scraping the hole as it passed through a hole in one of the fuselage cross members. After removing the cable fairing for access we installed a grommet where it passed through the hole and applied anti chaffing tape where it exited the fairing and reinstalled the fairing.
