Had James from Direct Avionics come over to do my required checks to operate in the Mode C veil. There were some leaks at the Air Data Computer, which tightening the fittings cured. Also pulled the wing tip lights to allow installation of the shims. James let me know the Garmin ADSB Out unit will need to be programmed via a laptop and a USB connection to reflect my N-number and ownership. I have no idea whether the USB port is accessible or if I need to pull the panel apart, AGAIN.
