Title: Gap seals
I proceeded with my riveting until about five rows from the rear spar I then fit the gap seal. I realized it would be easier to trim all the tabs off, as well as trim the holes. Due to the fragility of the gap seals ones all the supports are removed, I opted not to remove the support in the holes of the control arms, but to leave metal in place making a square hole. See pics. I then scuffed acetone and primed the surfaces. I use the straight edged, lined up the parallel surfaces, and custom drilled the gap seals. I completed all the rivets, noticed that stainless steel rivets to be used, and that a longer rivet must be used in the rear spa with a double or is in place. I do not believe these rivets are included, oh but are used CCPQ 44. I measured this with a cherry rivet gauge My kit also short approximately 100 AAPQ 43 rivets
