Title: Rigging ailerons and flaps
Today I adjusted the aileron and flap deflections. This requires a jig to lock the yolk in place. You can borrow a jig from the factory but I made my own. Once the yolk is locked, you adjust the ailerons so that they are 1 degree more than the root tube angle. Pretty easy to do with a digital angle gauge that lets you zero the root tube angle. Once the adjustment was correct I tightened the jam nuts on the cable ends. I followed the same process for the flaps which are 3 degrees more than the root tube angle.
