Sanded oil access door opening in top cowling for final fit. Modified frame to accept Avery hidden hinge. Made spacer/reinforcing plate for hinge mount to cowling. Use 5 rivets for hinge for extra support. Drilled and flush riveted frame to cowling. Installed Southco fasteners for trial fit. Still not decided whether to use these or Skybolt fasteners as others have done.
