Apr 04, 2020     Standing on it''s own - (1 hour)       Category: Landing Gear
Installed the gear legs, then wheels. Added weight to the nose, then removed the tail support. It rolls!
The leg clamps work great - no wiggle now.

Apr 03, 2020     Gear Leg Clamps - (4 hours)       Category: Landing Gear
After installing the main gear legs, I found a little movement, so I welded in clamps to lock them in place.

Apr 01, 2020     Gear legs installed, sitting on wheels - (4 hours)       Category: Landing Gear
Finished welding the gear sockets, cleaned them, got the legs in place, and wheels temporarily on.

Mar 16, 2020     Falperon mixer testing - (10 hours)       Category: Controls
Testing the concept #2 for flaperon mixer design. There is too much slop in the system, even going to ball end bearings and bell crank bearings. I''m going to revert to separate ailerons and flaps, per the Clement tri-gear drawings.

Mar 10, 2020     Mock-up for flaperon control arms and links - (8 hours)       Category: Controls
More work making and adjusting the control arms, bel cranks, and links to get the lengths, orientations, and positions needed for 40own flaps, 36p and 28or less) down aileron movement. Now at 30own flaps, ailerons 17p and 25own.

Mar 06, 2020     Flaperon mixer mock-up - (3 hours)       Category: Controls
Mock up for fit, location, angles, and operation of the flaperon control system. Due to the tri-gear modification, the aileron and flap controls had to be moved - redesigned, so I decided to take the opportunity to implement flaperons. Will determine exact location, angles of each element, and deflections next.

Mar 01, 2020     Nose gear leg and engine mount - (7 hours)       Category: Fuselage
Engine mount fitted to fuselage and nose gear leg installed.

Feb 13, 2020     Engine mount - (3 hours) Category: Fuselage
Finished fitting the mount to the fuselage, spec''d the needed bolts, and prepared the order.

Feb 10, 2020     Engine mount and fuselage match up now - (10 hours)       Category: Fuselage
Had to cut and splice tubing to get the lower right and right-center bushings on the fuselage to match the engine mount - done! Proper bolts are next.
