Picked up a pair of off-roading wheels and tires.

These are 8:50x6. Not quite Tundra Tires, but they will take 90%+ of the off-road work that I intend to do.

After much to-ing and fro-ing with a local steel supplier, we managed to get on the same page with the 4130 chromoly steel necessary for the first part of the fuselage.

Although the actual per foot cost is a little higher than it would have been from Wag Aero, my overall cost including the shipping will be approximately $1000 less, because I can actually drive to the facility and pick up the order, rather than having to pay around $3000 for shipping.

I estimate my total cost of steel for the fuselage to be around $3800.00.

Did some cleaning up of the workshop. I should be building the build table for the fuselage very shortly. That will take up a great deal of space, so I need to get out as much unnecessary crap as possible.

Purchased a working AI off of eBay. I plan to get the aluminum sheet for my panel and start to lay it out.

The compass was purchased new from Wag Aero.

This is the third iteration of the wing jig.

My first iteration was just not up to par, so I decided to scrap it and completely rebuild it.

My second iteration was much better, but still, I was not happy with it, given that Test Pilot, my family, my dog and I will be flying in it. I cannot risk an imperfect wing.

I feel much, much happier and confident in this version.
