Mar 01, 2021     FIRST FLIGHT AND AIRWORTHINESS CERTIFICATE Category: FIRST FLIGHT
Our RV7A Project is complete!!! We had our first flight on December 2, 2020 following an Airworthiness inspection conducted by Kurt Lohmueller here in Georgia.
Advice to all builders,, get with your DAR a year before you "think" you'll be completed to "MAKE SURE" you are on track with FAA. Don't underestimate the time it will take and the steps to get the "paperwork right",, the EAA certification kit/package is VERY HELPFUL- just start early!

The RV SMILE is really true,, it was a long and tedious process, but with help of friends, Forums and others, we have her air worthy and into the Testing mode.

Last entry, this photo/log book is also very helpful and integral to showing DAR the build process. GOOD LUCK TO ALL in your projects,, stay the course, well worth the time and effort. Don't give up!! Tony, David and Ed!!!!
