Though the build manual recommends the fuselage after the rudder, I felt that finishing the elevator first would allow the empennage to be stored out of the way on the wall, rather than be working on the elevator with the fuselage in the way. The elevator hinges were left loose until they could be fitted to the fuselage. Not sure why 767 cockpit photos showed up, don't know how to delete so whatever...

The first kit I ordered was the rudder kit, to see if I had the genuine desire and if I was willing to learn the required skills. First, a full size drawing was made from the plans, then the bending of the rudder bow and fabrication of the ribs and rudder horn.
