Largely routine. There is an area to the outboard edge of the wing that is going to have to be filed down in order to fit properly. Nothing significant or cause for concern.

I messed up the parts, the main mount was drilled where it rested on the rounded part of the j-stiffener causing it to bow once riveted. I tried a repair that only caused more issues so I decided to order replacement parts. Also did some other miscellaneous prep work and began the deburring of the outboard left lower skin.

Located and drilled additional passthrough locations for static/aoa lines. Drilled nutplate locations on inboard rib. Deburred holes and edges of inboard lower left skin.

The factory recommended grommets do not provide enough rib passthroughs so I am upsizing some and drilling new ones where I have to.

This procedure entailed using a "neutral" template and measuring to make sure the length of the main push/pull tube is correct. Through adjustments I was able to adjust it to +/- 1mm.

Began the process of solder the pigtails that come with the ZipTips. This brings all the wiring together so I had to spend a fair amount of time planning and figuring out the various wiring diagrams. I think I got it right! Also ran wires to the leading edge landing light bulbs which are connected in series with the ZipTip landing lights.
