Milled the spar cap notches in the 1" 2024 angle. Just need to final size the tangs.

cut the 1" 2024 angle for the center spar carry through to length. cut the 3/4" 1/16 thick 2024 angle doubler pieces to length. buffed/polished the .062 2024 sheet angles on the convolute wheel. rounded the corners and polished the laser cut edges. tomorrow i will cut the radiuses on the 1" angle on the mill at work.

used my olfa knife and rough cut the spar webs from the .020 2024 t3 sheet. cut the 12' long sheet to 84" and then cut out 3 full length webs. they will need to be filed and deburred, and cut to length (for the outer panels). spent some time with my 3m wheel and polished all the rough laser cut edges for the wing attach fittings. they are all now nice and shiney.

Made a few patterns, and made a few rudder hinge pieces. Mistakenly made two rudder control hinges, so ill trim one of them down to be a normal hinge.

Drilled/ milled the lightening holes and bolt holes for the 1/8" plates that bolt to the lower spar. The hole that the gear leg goes through is not done yet.

Spent some time rough cutting my form blocks. The material is slightly thicker than 1/2" im hoping that will be enough. Material is particle board. Sonex sells forms made from this material so i dont see why it wouldn't work for my purposes.

Spent the day making tempered hardboard master templates from vellum tracings i had previously made of the bulkheads. These will be used to make form blocks for the bulkheads and other parts. Also made were the landing gear 1/8 plates, rough cut from stock.

materials kit arrived. contents opened and preliminary inventory taken. a few items noted were missing, and contacted hummel about them. backordered. spar carry through would be laser cut from terry as the material isnt kept on hand for them to ship it. fine by me, less parts to make. i also upgraded to the laser cut 4130 parts, again, to save time.
