MJ, Mike, Joel, and Zach. Drilled 1/4-inch holes in Ti gear legs and axles, installed wheels. Discovered that gear leg bolt location on electric motor mount is installed 1 inch lower than standard, resulting in 18 inch dimension from bottom of fuselage instead of 16 and 11/16 called for in the plans. Consulted with Sonex Tech support and confirmed that 18 inches will work fine. They will notify electric Xenos builders of the need to alter the hole location in the gear legs.

Did a trial fit of the motor mount after installing rivets and bolts to firewall area. Fabricated shims to go between motor mount and fittings per drawing. Mike, MJ, Joel, Al, and others.

Greg Williams fabricated fairing from sheet, bent over fire extinguisher for shape. George Steed and others finished smoothing of fairing and attachment to aft fuselage with sheet metal screws.

MJ and Mark working to fit new motor mount to firewall mount lugs. Material had to be removed in order to allow landing gear legs to be attached.
