Completed the installation of the aileron and elevator controls. The first time I installed the torque tube and the interconnecting tube with the FWD and AFT control sticks, I had interference with both control sticks with the torque tube. The connecting bolts, nuts, and cotter pins were rubbing against the torque tube at the 8:00 position looking aft. To correct the interference, I had to grind the bolts and castle nuts down and shape them. After connecting the push/pull tube between the interconnect tube and the idler arm, the rod end was interfering with the idler arm when positioning the ailerons to full left and right. I joggled the idler arm and used 2 bushings between the rod end. I got the idea from a Bearhawk Form post by Bcone1381 dated 12/23/23. Also, I had interference with the push/pull tube and the torque tube with the stick full aft. I then disassembled the entire flight control stick system to remove the torque tube so I could lower the front torque tube rod end fitting and raise the aft rod end fitting. This helped but did not correct the interference. The interference problem required grinding the aft end of the torque tube. This was done on the top edge of the torque tube from the 9:00 to the 3:00 position.
