I started the registration process for 45GV in May once the N-Number reservation was confirmed in May 2021. Since then I have been dealing with Chain of Custody issues since I have three different "parts" for my kit. Today I spent more time resolving what is hopefully the final issue. I have never experienced anything so ridiculous in my entire life! I'm aware the FAA is a government agency and expected some hoops to jump through but its just been amazing at the level of bureaucracy and a process that seems to be pretty straightforward but is anything but. Oh well..lesson learned.

Update 11/12/21 - N-Number appears to be fully registered on the FAA website....I'll believe it when I receive my actual registration in the mail!

I did locate the DAR today and he is actually based in Rifle and had a nice chat with him about the process. He wants 2 weeks' notice and will send me a check list to follow. $500 bucks seem like a bargain at this point!
