Five hours on flaperon rigging and STILL not done. After several issues with trying to hold stick in neutral position with Gorilla tape while doing initial adjustments for flaperon rigging, I finally gave up when heat caused gorilla tape to let go. After several issues trying to install the flaperon actuators rods, I discovered there is a right and a left. Of course I had them bassacward.....one seemed too long and the other seemed too short. Thought my other actuators were misaligned. Just now switch tubes....getting hot and I'm dehydrated....again.
Before stopping this job, I removed main flaperon push rod running under my seat due to significant rubbing on floor stringer. Have to file off the powder coat and a little metal to get adequate clearance.
