Bent stiffeners and reinserted into fuselage. Trimmed shims where they interfered with the window spacers. Drilled #40 holes in top skins to #30 and clecoed. For bending the stiffeners, I stretched the metal on the webs at the point of the bend. I used a ball-peen hammer backed with a bucking bar clamped in a vise.
This stretches the metal and causes the stiffener to bend nicely without weakening it. The peening was a crescent shape, broad at the edge of the web and narrowing as it approaches the flange.
