Adding connectors to wire pigtails. For current-carrying wires, I am using Universal Mate-N-Lok connectors. I have chosen two sizes.... 12 pin and 6 pin, but other sizes are available. I also bought the expensive pin extraction tool to make my life easier.

For signal wires, I am using d-sub connectors and barrel crimp pins.
