Checked the batwing fairing sealant and made adjustments. Added some epoxy/micro filler to intake ramps. A keen observer will see that the fiberglass inlet ramps are not really required, they could be incorporated into the aluminum fairing. I had them in place, so I just used them as structure to support the batwing extensions.

My RV-9A version from 20 years ago was the original inspiration for this setup. Vans has adopted this style for new aircraft (see RV-14 photo), so I will take credit!

These fairings allow the baffle seals to smoothly form to the cowling, turned in to resist the air pressure. In fact, my other baffle mods reflect the way my RV-9A and Rocket were done, which is vastly superior to Rans' technique (which is cloaked in mystery).
