Today I installed several engine ignition components and the engine wiring harness. I started by building the CDI module. This included assembling the mount, attaching the CDI modules to the mount, and attaching the module to the right engine mounting plate. Next I attached the starter relay and the regulator/rectifier to the left engine mounting plate. I then temporarily tie-wrapped the wiring harness to the root tube and started connecting the appropriate leads together. The ground connection point is made by first drilling out a couple rivets on a root tube gusset plate and then installing a bolt and nut to connect the ground wires.
