Aug 12, 2022 My workbench for the winglets and elevators Category: Tools
The book says to use some flat doors set on top of some sawhorses as workbench. This worked pretty good for the winglets and elevators. This is a 36" wide door from Lowes. Normally about $60, this one was in the mark down bin for $10 because of a hole in it. The saw horses are light duty craftsman also from lowes. I bought 6 on sale for $15 each. Four of them under the door made a nice sturdy bench to work from. The 5-minute epoxy I tacked the cores down with pulled the cheap veneer off when removed, but easy enough to sand smooth again. Best part is now that I am done it just folds up out of the way.
