Horizontal Stabilizer Prepping Rear Attachment Bracket.
- (4 hours)
Category: Tail Feathers
Rear Bracket was trimmed to allow space for elevator. A plywood template in shape of an arc was made based on plans - dimensions are given in a triangle. A reciprocating hand saber saw with a fine tooth blade was used to make the cut. 21 holes needed to be drilled based upon the plan. A drill press was used with a number 40 bit then opened up to a number 30 and finally a number 20. Bracket was Deburred and corrosion protected with cortec.
