Installed forward top skin doublers (35-17), cowl attach hinges (35-18), and riveted and installed forward top skin up to riveting (35-19).

Installed aft elevator push rod but need to bring horizontal stab back to complete attachment. Returned to 35-11 to complete canopy deck installation.

Productive day. Primed aft baggage area that was part of aft fuselage. Used new DeVilbis Dekups system, worked great. Completed 36-06 to 36-14. Assembled elevator bellcrank, installed elevator pushrod, control sticks, control stick pushrod.

Nov 07, 2020 36.2 Elevator Pushrods - (4 hours)

Category: Fuselage

Completed installing rod end fittings and adjusting to required length (36-03,04). Installed CS-00001 and bolted to control arm, torqued, and sealed. Prepared parts for priming bell crank and servo support (36-05,06). Confirmed use of Classic Aero floor carpeting/foam for hiding refrigerant lines. Cleaned and taped baggage area in preparation for priming areas of aft fuselage not yet primed.

This entry summarizes work completed during week of 10/18 to 10/25/20.
- Installed rudder pedals and brake lines. Expanded existing holes in main spar and ribs for routing brake lines.
- Prepped and primed baggage floor and side panel sections. Will not rivet to baggage ribs at this time pending coolant hose routing.
- Prepped and primed flap support bracket and related parts.
- Connected rudder cables to rudder pedals and installed guides and clamps.
- Prepared, primed and installed flap control rod.

Complete riveting of brake pads and attached to rudder pedals. Installed Beringer cylinders. Plan to replace the stock pads with custom product which will move hydraulic lines behind rudder pedal.

Back at it after a 3 wk Western hiatus to escape the heat and humidity of the NC summer. Completed pgs. 28-07 through -10 over three days which includes fabrication and priming of the vents and initial installation of the Forward Center Section Bulkhead. Made a mistake installing the right cable bracket since it's not mirror image of the left, but easily fixed it.

Completed fabrication of mid fuselage bulkheads, Section 25, Fabricated bearing bracket assembly (25-03). Had to enlarge the countersink on the shop head side to make room for the long 3-7 rivets called out in the plans. Ground down shop head to flush and repainted.
