Spent the last week (off and on) tearing the engine down. A fair amount of surface rust but the insides looked good. No obvious wear or corrosion. Engine was nicely oiled. Plan on overhauling the case and cylinders and having the crank and cam inspected. Hopefully will get that started in the next couple weeks (business trip and vacation in the way).
