After departing Johannesburg in March, The tail kit has had a scenic tour of Asia with stops in Singapore, China, South Korea, it is finally eastbound toward Long Beach with an estimated arrival of May 7. According to Sling, it typically takes about 2 weeks to clear customs and 1-2 weeks to be shipped to the customer, so I should see it in early June.

The empennage is on the way! It departed South Africa on March 12 on the container ship MSC Uberty VIII (https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/details/9337444). ETA Los Angeles is May 4.
