The project started many years ago when an elderly gentleman started building the WagAero J-3. He completed the airframe and tail-feathers and had it on landing gear when the project was stopped for reasons that I don't know (I didn't know him). A friend of mine acquired the project at the gentlemen's estate sale and saved it from going to the scrap yard. He stored it for several years until he lost his hanger space and that's when I came into the picture.
I hung the airframe from the ceiling in my hanger for a few years while I finished my RV8a.
Over the years I picked up everything to build the wings and that's where I will start with some of the build details. Atleast as far as I can remember as I haven't always kept good record of the build, but I can change,if I have to, I guess.
