Disassembly, prime, and paint. The weather was cold and rainy, very high humidity, and the paint took forever to dry. Final assembly will have to wait.

  May 11, 2021     Trim Tab and Teardown - (5 hours) Category: Elevator

Fit and drilled trim tab. Installed servo motor for trim and reinforcement L under the skin. Tear down, deburring, cleaning parts for primer and paint.

Cut and drilled support tabs, L angles, and other control horn fittings.

  May 05, 2021     Drilling Hinge, Control Horns, and Doublers - (2.2 hours)       Category: Elevator

Cleco'd top skin, joined with horizontal stabilizer, and started drilling rivet line. Fit and drilled control horns and doublers.

Started fitting ribs and other components. Cut connectors for inside center channel and drilled and clecoed into position. Leveled on steel beams. Next up it to weight it down and cleco the top skin, setting the final position.
