I felt like changing focus on the project to the motor since almost $20,000. We spent on a new zero DSR motorcycle, which had been sitting for years.
There are many challenges to get this motor to fit into the airplane so I thought it would be good to address those challenges now rather than waiting for another year to complete the airframe.
So I started removing fairings, charger, display, and other pieces and preparation for dropping the battery. Laid the zero DSR motorcycle over and began extracting the battery, but had to stop because there are connectors that need to be removed.
Photographed every nut fault and screw removed from the bike so that it can be reconstructed and place the fasteners in a cup.
