I've been researching how to wrap vice paint the airplane.
A lot of builders use wrap to put traim on the aircraft, but few wrap the entire plane.
I decided to take a chance and try to wrap the fuselage. If it doesn't work out, I can always peel it off. However, it not easy to remove a wrap - a lot easier than removing paint.
Instead of trying to wrap large sections at a time, I'm applying smaller section that match the skin sections. This is working very well. Although I need another set of hands for the big pieces.
The biggest challenge is smoothing over the rivet heads - because they're so many of them.
