The main fuselage of a Sonex is 40 inches. The workshop door needed 42 inches to clear not only the fuselage, but the latch and exterior aluminum L brackets.
I removed the pre-hung door and two 2x6 studs surrounding it. Viola: 42 inches.

Started inventory of all parts.

It was a cluster bomb because:
- 18 wheeler got stuck approaching the house
- 18 wheeler could not get into the 400ft driveway, necessitating 5 trips up and down the driveway with a trailer
- rained
- police
- blocked school buses

First-world problems…
The good news is that the parts were safely delivered…no injury to people or airplane.

Placed and cemented PVC conduit and cable in garage. Will energize 50Amp service tomorrow. Contacted HVAC installer about installing a Mitsubishi 9K BTU heat pump, SEER 30.5

Placed and cemented PVC conduit and cable into trench from workshop to garage, where there is 200 Amp service. Inside garage work can commence tomorrow. 50Amp service will be installed.
