Picked. Up double-throw crankshaft modified Lawrence A3 in Brodhead from the Keelch Aviation Museum. Modified existing stand A3 stand to accept the modified engine. Plumbed the oil pressure, oil temp, tach and ignition switch. Set the valves at .010 and timing at 29.5 degrees TDC. Drained oil. Ready for prelube and oil. Adjusted hub on prop to fire at horizontal position. Good spark and compression.

This is the forward firewall. Cut and fit 3/4" X 1" spruce to forward firewall for mounting 8-32 brass inserts to mount the cowling.

after welding motor mount and mounting engine, found out I did not have the engine plumb with the fuselage. Cut off engine mounting ring and replumbed and is ready for the welder. Also made 4 gussts to weld in the corners.
