My DAR gave me a final inspection and provided me with an airworthiness certificate. When the weather gets better I'll start phase 1 testing.

Got my weight and balance done by an A&P. 1196 lbs I'm happy. Big wing, big tail, slats, wide body, L-21, 6” gear, 35's, baby bush wheel, seats, interior, all inspection covers, 7 quarts of oil. Right where I wanted to be without cheating on the weight. Ready to fly - fuel. 13” behind the leading edge CG empty with an envelope of 10.5” to 22” I'm about perfect. The picture of the scale includes the weight of the wood blocks. 1,104 lbs useful load.

Turned in the necessary paperwork to the FAA to get the ball rolling on my airworthiness certificate.

Cut some bushing on the lathe to allow the attachments to swivel. Installed the front and rear seatbelts.

Powder coated and installed with rivets an upper door latch.

Made paper templates and cut out carbon inspection covers. Attached small panels with pk screws and the larger bell crank covers have nut plates and #6 screws.

Finished up the boot cowl bottom.

Cut out lower door glass and install with pop rivets.
